What gems can fit inside a place so small? Those that make you smile and feel the warmth on the inside. Those that the air can´t blow away. Those that understand language that cannot be told because it is only yours. A stone so white and round that it seems like the moon in the summer. A shell that shines from within because it knows it contains the entire ocean. A tooth that is both from a unicorn and a shark at the same time. A balloon without air. A peg without clothes. The smallest pencil in the world.

Grapat toys are designed to stir the imagination, to allow the child to be creative in her own way. There is no right way to play with the toys: just go where the fancy takes you!
The wood used for Grapat toys (primarily beech and birch) comes from sustainable forests. Wood is the source that inspires the workshop daily. It is robust, soft and hard, it is warm, it sounds good and it smells good.
The dyes are based on water and non-toxic: they allow the grain of the wood to show through, bringing children into closer contact with nature. The finishes are made with waxes and oils of vegetable origin. The oils can have a strong aroma at first, but it loses it within a few days. Each piece is unique, each one is painted by hand. And natural imperfections are recognized as being part of the natural wood: it is beautiful and makes the material even more valuable.
For care or cleaning of the parts, wipe with a damp cloth and dry immediately.
These made the perfect little stocking stuffers for our kids this year. They are a beautiful addition to our loose parts collectin and the lid can spin like a top too!

Not our favorite.
Cute? Yes. Good quality? Yes. But it’s not a favorite. I had originally planned on trying to get all the colors, but I’ll just stick with the ones we have.

I prefer other grapat items
Paint quality wasn’t as great as I expect from grapat. I only bought these because I was hoping to win the little things golden ticket (I didn’t) they are a bit overpriced for what you get. Maybe my toddler will like better when she’s able to spin tops.
