Plan Toys Play Gym - Pastel

We love it, and so does our baby! The simple design and soft colors are pleasant for us to look at, and it keeps baby’s attention for long periods of time. Arrived quickly and was easy to assemble.

You won’t find a wooden play gym for a better price, and this one really is beautiful. It’s something I don’t mind having in my living room. I do, however think that there is some room for improvement.

The wooden balls at each joint are glued on to at least one dowel which makes it easy for the consumer to assemble, but impossible to adjust. The one I got is a little wobbly because one of the balls at the top is glued on at just slightly the wrong angle. This also makes adding additional toys difficult because most natural material play gym toys are constructed to hang off a wooden ring. With the wooden balls glued to either end of the top dowel, one cannot slide a ring onto the dowel and the rings don’t hang well on the pegs provided. I ended up tying my extra toys on with string.

The two toys that come with the gym are beautiful and well made, but much too short for a baby to reach them from the floor. However, the gym does fit perfectly over the Boppy newborn lounger which provides enough lift to reach the toys.

Overall, I would recommend this as long as you are ready to make some modifications.
