LOVE AND DEDICATION 
The beautiful figures are made in a small manufactory in Georgia, which has been producing high-quality and educationally valuable wooden toys since 1997. With much love and dedication, toys are made there that capture the soul of animals and people.

QUALITY STANDARDS
Only FSC-certified wood of the highest quality is used. The edges are rounded and finely sanded in several work steps so that they are pleasant and soft to the touch. Finally, they are painted with natural colors (Biofa) and polished with high-quality oil.
Full inclusion of people with special needs in the small community, fair pay and a good and friendly working atmosphere characterize the workshop. This is how sustainable toys are created that are loved and passed on from generation to generation.

SIMPLE ENOUGH
Each toy is simple enough to stimulate the imagination, but accurate enough to be realistic. In this way, children's sense of beauty and imagination is nurtured.

HISTORY
In 1997 Merab Kuchukhidze and his friend Niko Tsilik founded a small workshop in Tbilisi and began to produce simple but appealing wooden toys with only a few works, as recommended in Waldorf education. The toys are characterized by clear, simple shapes and careful workmanship.
Together with the successors, they have further developed the design and expanded the range. HolzWald has taken over the overall distribution of the manufactory and are developing the HolzWald brand worldwide.
